Deputy Dean I Dr. Ns.Yani Sofiani, M.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB., said that this award was a proud achievement for FIK UMJ because the regulations for passing the National Nurse Competency Test were absolute because of the exit exam system.
"Of course, this achievement is not only an achievement for the study program but also for the entire FIK UMJ academic community, including management in the faculty, study program, lecturers, education staff and parents of students," said Yani when asked for information via short message Thursday (19/10/2023) .
Parents are important stakeholders in the learning process of FIK UMJ students. This is due to the length of the student preparation program to take the competency test. Faculty leaders decided to involve parents so they could support and encourage their children until exam day arrived.
UMJ FIK leaders and lecturers often hold meetings with students' parents for counseling, consultations and joint prayer activities. Communication and coordination between all parties involved starting from the learning process, preparing clinical facilities for students, and providing qualified preceptors is the main key in maintaining this achievement.
"We hope that this achievement can be maintained and improved. "Collaboration is always fostered in order to achieve student competency," said Yani.
Through this achievement, FIK UMJ strives to produce quality graduates to support government programs as stated by the General Chair of AIPNI during his speech. Agus Setiawan encouraged universities to prepare graduates who can adapt to the government's transformation agenda.
The activity with the theme Strengthening Higher Nursing Education in Supporting Transformation in the Education and Health Sectors in the Era of Digitalization, was attended by representatives of universities from every region throughout Indonesia.
